TERMS OF SERVICE

 

Andy Charles Guitars specialises in the repair, maintenance and modifications of guitars both acoustic and electric. Other fretted instruments will be considered for work. Amplifiers, pedals and other electrical equipment is not catered for however I will be happy to point you in the direction of a relevant repair man.

 

Each appointment should be booked in via the booking application found

 

All instruments left for repair are to be left with a suitable Bag or hard case.

 

All repairs will be estimated before any work is completed. Estimates are approximations of the cost of repair and can be subject to change. Parts, strings and or materials will be charged at extra cost where applicable.

 

If any parts are for custom order these will need to be paid for in full and are non-refundable. Once these parts are in stock, I will complete the work.

 

I do not provide estimates over the phone unless the desired quote is for one of the standard service charges. These quotes however are subject to change after and assessment of the instrument first hand.

 

For all work estimated above £200 a 25% deposit is required. I will estimate a turnaround time and try to keep to these time frame where possible and subject to availability of parts and materials.

 

All instruments left for repair at Andy Charles Guitars are to be collected within a timely fashion after work and repairs are completed. Instruments left for longer than 30 days after contact has been made for collection will be considered abandoned and the property of Andy Charles Guitars. The guitar may then be sold to cover costs if necessary.

All work including setup adjustments are covered by a 60 day warranty.

 

Andy Charles Guitars is fully insured and will always take the upmost of care with your instrument.
